Standard invoices you create, including duplicates and quotes converted to invoices. Credit notes, deposit invoices, late fee invoices and recurring invoices do not count. Quotes have their own separate allowance of 5.

If your business is VAT registered, Invo labels documents as tax invoices and shows your VAT number, the VAT amount and both parties' details. Invo is record-keeping software. It does not submit anything to SARS for you.

Yes. Connect your own Paystack, PayFast, Peach Payments, Yoco or Ozow account and your clients get a pay link on the invoice. The money goes straight to your gateway account, not through Invo.
You can still view, download and record payments on everything you have already made. Creating a sixth invoice is blocked until the 1st or until you upgrade.
The catch is the limit. Five invoices and five quotes a month covers a lot of freelancers and side businesses. If you need more, or need expenses and reports, the paid plans start at R99 a month.
